Greetings, everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my website. I’m a devout Christian (just call me joyous for Jesus!), a licensed attorney, and I love to read (meet the girl who read books in school because she wanted to…not for the pizza…but I still took the pizza). It’s extremely important to instill the love of reading in children early, and what better way to begin this love of reading than by teaching children about the most important person they’ll ever know in their lives-God?
PERKY GIRL IN A QUIRKY WORLD
I’m what you would call your typical tomboy-I have always loved sports, cars, getting my hands dirty, rolling around in the dirt, and enjoying this beautiful world that God has blessed us with. I am also a premium, grade-A nerd: I have always loved school, I have always loved to learn as much as I possibly can, and I want to use what I have learned to help the world around me. Sounds a bit cliche, right? Just call me cornier than the cob, and cheesier than macaroni-I am all about that life.
CHRISTIAN CURIOSITY WON’T KILL THE CAT
There are so many people who do not know God and have not accepted Jesus Christ into their lives as their personal Lord and Savior. The love of God should always (but of course, does not always) begin in the home, and the younger that we begin teaching our children about God, the better. The Bible can be difficult to read, and if you’re like some of us, we have the attention span of a twig or a melted marshmallow (talk about mush for brains). If the Bible can be broken down into simpler stories, not only can everyone, children and adults like, better understand what we are reading, but we will also have a greater appreciation for God, his love for us, and the great plans that he has for our lives.
LEARN. LAUGH. LIVE.
I don’t believe that learning about God should be limited to just your typical bedtime stories, either. I love to laugh and have fun, and children should be able to laugh and have fun as they learn about the Creator. I’m talking Christian comic books, Christian trading cards, Christian trivia, the works! As Proverbs 17:22 notes, a merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones. As we learn about God before bed, we don’t want any dry bones, dry mouths, dry hearts, or dry spirits! We want God’s living water to overwhelm us, make us smile, answer our most pressing questions, and give us unexplainable peace. Let’s get it cracking so that our souls won’t be lacking!
My family started reading Bible stories to me while I was in diapers-I have carried these stories with me into my (now) 20s, and I want to help others to have this same great, life changing experience.

Maybe that’s because people who know so many Bible stories are associated in my head as being adult and mature (assuming to have many years lol).
Thank you for this website, it will help me understand the Bible better as I have always found it difficult to interpret it for myself.

This is a great website on our creator, and to teach the children well in their early age in helping them know we are more that just Mom/Dad, boy and girls, there is a higher spirit involved. Especially this time when people are spending more time indoor with children, these stories are a great asset for parents to read to their children and renew our faith.
